I have some questions regarding my tumalock account. Who can I contact?

How do I register for tumalock services and what are the required documents?.

To use tumalock services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update this information as necessary.

Every user is required to register in order to transact through tumalock deal.  Anyone using tumalock as buyer or seller is deemed to have accepted to provide all required particulars and has accepted the terms and conditions.

For one to be registered, the following details and documents are required

1. National Id number.

2. Full official names.

3. Official mpesa phone number.

4. An alternative number for communication incase the main contact number is unreachable. This should also be a contact from a trusted person.

5. Email particulars.

What fee does tumalock charges for securing payments through its platform?. Any service fee table?.

Yes we have a service fee table showing how tumalock deal charges its clients.

Tumalock charges a fee for the use of its services. This fee is paid by the buyer at the point of making deposit, for the payment of purchases.

Tumalock charges a small service fee ranging from a minimum of sh.10 for goods worth sh.100 and up to a maximum of sh.1,000 for goods or services worth sh.249,000. The other charges are as shown on our service fee table. 

                                   

What are the work of tumalocks agents at the collection offices?

The agents are expected among other duties, to provide support and facilitate clients to successfully transact through tumalock deal.

 They will verify, record and safely store the received items from sellers. They will later verify the rightful owners of the stored luggage before releasing them.

These agents will also be responsible for communications with those involved in a transaction. They will follow up on the progress of transactions secured through tumalock to ensure that everything run smoothly. This will in turn minimize complaint cases. The agents will also record and report any complaint registered (feedback) by the clients.

How do I make payment?.

Tumalock platform enables one to make payment directly from the website. Just enter the items price and the system will automatically calculate and display for you the service fee and the total amount to pay . Mpesa notification push is send directly to your phone and you are only required to enter your mpesa pin for transaction to be successful. ase it’s important to look out for hidden costs and conditions that may affect the overall price.

Explain how tumalocks process of securing payment is done.

The steps involved are:

1. Both the buyer and the seller agree on the prices of the items as well as mode of delivering them to the buyer. They can just accomplish this through phone call communication.

2. The buyer deposits money (LOCK) to tumalock through the web or through mpesa paybill number 4142657 followed by the seller’s mobile number.

3. The seller then delivers (TUMA) the items after being notified by tumalock deal.

4. The buyer after receiving his purchased items, releases the money (UNLOCK) to the seller. He can notify tumalock that he/she is satisfied, through any of the provided channel.

5. Tumalock then releases the money initially deposited by the buyer to the seller and the deal is closed.
