Initiate Transaction
Buyer and seller agree on a transaction. The buyer initiates a secure payment through Tumalock.
Funds Locked
Payment is locked in our secure escrow system. The seller can see the funds are committed but cannot access them yet.
Delivery & Verification
Seller delivers the product or service. Buyer verifies receipt and quality of the goods/services.
Funds Unlocked
Once buyer confirms satisfaction, funds are released to the seller. Transaction complete with full protection for both parties.

Tumalock Escrow secures agreements between buyers and sellers in the ever-growing world of e-commerce. With the increasing popularity of online transactions, cases of fraud and scams have grown too — costing Kenyans significant financial losses every year.
Tumalock platform provides a solution by holding the buyer's payment in a secure trust account while the purchased goods are being delivered by the seller. The seller cannot access the funds until the goods have been successfully delivered. Once the buyer receives the items, they verify their condition and then unlock the money to be released to the seller.

Deposit Money (Lock Payment)
The buyer dials 👉 LOCK PAYMENT and the money meant for purchasing items/services from a seller is deposited into their Tumalock account.
Both the seller and the buyer will receive a LOCKED SUCCESSFULLY SMS from Tumalock. The seller can then start delivering items as agreed with the buyer.
Release Money (Unlock Payment)
When the buyer receives their items/services, they log in and dial 👉 UNLOCK PAYMENT to complete the transaction.
Both parties receive an UNLOCKED SUCCESSFULLY message. The seller then receives the funds to their registered M-Pesa number.

Agent Offices
Tumalock has agent offices in major towns across Kenya. Sellers can drop off parcels for buyers to collect after inspection, adding an extra layer of trust to delivery.
